If you're a Beef Jerky fan and looking for a tasty snack, try Fatman's Beef Jerky. I'm not saying it's healthy (see the ingredients below), but it tastes good. It fits in with most snack foods that if it tastes good, it must not be healthy. As with anything, enjoy in moderation.
There are several different flavors, but so far I've only tried the Cowboy Style and Lemon Pepper flavors. Both are good, and have a slightly spicy and very flavorful taste. So good that I can easily go through a 2 oz. bag in less than an hour. At $6 a bag ($3 an ounce for the math challenged like me) you have to be careful or it can be an expensive snack habit!
Fatman's Beef Jerky is made by Red Meat Foods, LLC of Roswell, New Mexico. So where do you buy it if you're not in New Mexico and they don't have it at the local grocery or convenience store?
In San Diego you can find it at the Alpine (Viejas Outlet Center), Lakeside and Santee Farmers Markets.
